ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ مَنْ كَانَ أَحَبَّ لِأَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ كَانَ أَفْضَلَ

ibnhibban:566 – al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Saʿd b. Yazīd al-Farrāʾ Abū al-Ḥasan > Mubārak b. Faḍālah > Thābit > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] The translation is: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No two people love each other for the sake of Allah, except that the one who loves his companion more will be superior."  

ابن حبّان:٥٦٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْفَرَّاءُ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا تَحَابَّ اثْنَانِ فِي اللَّهِ إِلَّا كَانَ أَفْضَلَهُمَا أَشَدُّهُمَا حُبًّا لِصَاحِبِهِ»
