ذِكْرُ مَا يَقُولُ الْمَرْءُ لِأَخِيهِ عِنْدَ الْوَدَاعِ فَيَحْفَظُهُ اللَّهُ فِي سَفَرِهِ

[Machine] Indeed, I do not have anything to give you, but I heard the Messenger of Allahﷺ say, "If Allah entrusts something to someone, He will protect it. And indeed, I entrust to Allah your religion, your trustworthiness, and the outcomes of your deeds."  

ابن حبّان:٢٦٩٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّغَوْلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَائِذٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُطْعِمُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ إِلَى الْعِرَاقِ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ مَعِي فَشَيَّعَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُفَارِقَنَا قَالَ

إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مَعِي شَيْءٌ أُعْطِيكُمَا وَلَكِنْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا اسْتَوْدَعَ اللَّهُ شَيْئًا حَفِظَهُ وَإِنِّي أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِينَكُمَا وَأَمَانَتَكُمَا وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكُمَا»

When the Prophet ﷺ wanted to say farewell to an army, he would say: I entrust to Allah your religion, what you are responsible for, and your final deeds.

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَسْتَوْدِعَ الْجَيْشَ قَالَ أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِينَكُمْ وَأَمَانَتَكُمْ وَخَوَاتِيمَ أَعْمَالِكُمْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَدَّعَ جَيْشًا قَالَ «أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِينَكُمْ وَأَمَانَتَكُمْ وَخَوَاتِيمَ أَعْمَالِكُمْ»

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When Allah is entrusted with something, He preserves it. And I entrust Allah with your religion and your trust, and the last portion of your deeds."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا اسْتُودِعَ اللهُ شَيْئًا حِفِظَهُ وَإِنِّي أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللهَ دِينَكُمَا وَأَمَانَتَكُمَا وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكُمَا»  

nasai-kubra:10273 – Wāṣil b. ʿAbd al-Aʿlá > Ibn Fuḍayl > Nahshal b. Mujammiʿ al-Ḍabbī > Qazʿah

[Machine] And he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Lokman the wise said, "Indeed, when Allah is entrusted with something, He preserves it, and indeed, I entrust Allah with your debt, integrity, the final outcomes of your deeds, and I send peace upon you."  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٠٢٧٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنِ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ نَهْشَلِ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ الضَّبِّيِّ عَنْ قَزْعَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَلَمَّا خَرَجْتُ شَيَّعَنِي

وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ الْحَكِيمُ «إِنَّ اللهَ إِذَا اسْتُودِعَ شَيْئًا حَفِظَهُ وَإِنِّي أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللهَ دَيْنَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِمَ عَمَلِكَ وَأَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us that Luqman the wise said: "Verily, when Allah is entrusted with something, He preserves it. And I entrust Allah with your religion, your trusts, and the outcomes of your deeds."  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٠٢٧٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الْأَزْرَقِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ نَهْشَلٍ عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ قَالَ شَيَّعْتُ أَنَا وَقَزْعَةُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, when Allah entrusts something, He preserves it. And I entrust Allah with your religion, your trust, and the conclusions of your deeds."
