ذِكْرُ الْعِلَّةِ الَّتِي مِنْ أَجْلِهَا نُهِيَ عَنِ الِاخْتِصَارِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The ease in prayer is the comfort of the people of Hellfire."  

ابن حبّان:٢٢٨٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

ahmad:24009-19 – Yazīd > Ayyūb b. ʿUtbah > Qays b. Ṭalq from his father

Qays ibn Talq said: Talq ibn Ali visited us on a certain day during Ramadan. He remained with us till evening and broke fast with us. He then stood up and led us in the witr prayer. He then went to his mosque and led them in prayer. When the witr remained, he put forward another man and said: Lead your companions in the witr prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There are no two witrs during one night. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1439)   

أحمد:٢٤٠٠٩-١٩ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
