[Machine] There was a conversation between me and 'Amr ibn Yasir, and I showed harshness towards him. So 'Amr went to complain about me to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . Then Khalid came and he also complained about me. Khalid kept intensifying the complaints against me without any increase except harshness. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ remained silent. 'Amr cried and said, "O Messenger of Allah, don't you see him?" The Prophet ﷺ raised his head and said, "Whoever harms 'Amr, Allah will harm him, and whoever dislikes 'Amr, Allah will dislike him." Khalid said, "So I left and there was nothing more beloved to me than the satisfaction of 'Amr, and I met him and he was satisfied." This is the hadith of Al-Awam ibn Al-Hawshab.

[Machine] There was a conversation between me and Ammar bin Yasser, and I spoke harshly to him. So Ammar went to complain about me to the Prophet ﷺ , and then Khalid also came to complain about him to the Prophet ﷺ . The Prophet ﷺ remained silent and did not speak. Then Ammar cried and said, "O Messenger of Allah, do you not see him?" So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his head and said, "Whoever opposes Ammar, Allah will oppose him, and whoever hates Ammar, Allah will hate him." Khalid said, "So I left, and nothing was more beloved to me than Ammar's approval. I met him and he was pleased." Abdullah (bin Masud) said, "I heard this narration from Abi Amratain, and it is more eloquent than that of Al-Awam."

'Ammaar then went to complain about me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so Khalid came with 'Ammaar to complain about me. Khalid began to worsen the situation for him, and nothing made him feel worse except for Khalid's harshness. The Prophet ﷺ remained silent, so 'Ammaar began to cry.
