11.45 [Machine] In the nation, its freedom is made its ransom

١١۔٤٥ بَابٌ فِي الْأَمَةِ يُجْعَلُ عِتْقُهَا صَدَاقَهَا

darimi:2288 – Musaddad > Ḥammād b. Zayd > Shuʿayb b. al-Ḥabḥāb > Anas

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set Safiyyah free, and made her ransom her dowry, and he married her. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1958)  

الدارمي:٢٢٨٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ الْحَبْحَابِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ وَتَزَوَّجَهَا وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا»
