Anas was asked, "Did the Prophet ﷺ wear a ring?" Anas said, "Once he delayed the: ʿIsha' prayer till midnight. Then he came, facing us ..... as if l am now Looking at the glitter of his ring ..... and said, "The people have offered their prayers and slept but you have been in prayer as you have been waiting for it."  

سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ هَلِ اتَّخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ خَاتَمًا قَالَ أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ قَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُوهَا  

"Anas bin Malik was asked: 'Did the Prophet wear a ring?' He said: 'Yes.' One night he delayed the 'Isha' prayer until almost the middle of the night. When he had prayed, he turned to face us and said: 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you will still be in a state of prayer so long as you are waiting for the (next) prayer.'" (Sahih)Anas said: "It was as if I can see the sparkle from his ring.'"  

سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ هَلِ اتَّخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ خَاتَمًا قَالَ نَعَمْ أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً الْعِشَاءَ الآخِرَةَ إِلَى قَرِيبٍ مِنْ شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلاَةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ  

[Machine] He was asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wear a ring?" He replied, "Yes, he would delay the Isha prayer until the middle of the night, then he would pray. After he finished praying, he turned his face towards the people and said, 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, while you all have been in prayer since you waited for the prayer.' He said, 'It is as if I can see the white glow of his ring.'"  

سُئِلَ هَلِ اصْطَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى فَلَمَّا صَلَّى أَقْبَلَ بِوَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلَاةٍ مُنْذُ انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ  

"Anas was asked: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ use a ring?' He said: 'Yes. One night he delayed the later 'Isha' prayer, until almost halfway through the night. When he prayed the Prophet ﷺ turned his face toward us and said: 'You are still in a state of prayer so long as you waiting for it.'" Anas said: 'It is as if I can see the luster of his ring.' According to the narration of 'Ali - that is, Ibn Hujr - "until halfway through the night." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 539)  

سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ هَلِ اتَّخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ خَاتَمًا؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا أَنْ صَلَّى أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ «إِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُوهَا» قَالَ أَنَسٌ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ  

[Machine] He was asked whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wear a ring, and he said, "Yes, he would delay the prayer of Isha (Night Prayer) until the middle of the night. When he finished praying, he would face us and say, 'People have already prayed and gone to sleep, while you have been in prayer since you awaited the prayer.' It was as if I could see the brilliance of his ring."  

أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ هَلِ اصْطَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا؟ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ أَخَّرَ الصَّلَاةَ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ قَدْ صَلُّوا وَرَقَدُوا وَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ مُنْذُ انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيضِ خَاتَمِهِ
