The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever sees me (in a dream) then he indeed has seen the truth ."  

البخاري:٦٩٩٦ – حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ خَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّبَيْدِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ ؓ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ رَآنِي فَقَدْ رَأَى الْحَقَّ  

تَابَعَهُ يُونُسُ وَابْنُ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ

He who saw me in dream in fact saw the truth (what is true).  

مسلم:٢٢٦٧a – وَقَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ رَآنِي فَقَدْ رَأَى الْحَقَّ  

ahmad:15880 – Ḥusayn b. Muḥammad > Khalaf / Ibn Khalīfah > Abū Mālik al-Ashjaʿī from his father

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Name yourselves after me (by my name), but do not call yourselves by my Kuniya, and whoever sees me in a dream, he surely sees me, for Satan cannot impersonate me (appear in my figure). And whoever intentionally ascribes something to me falsely, he will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire. (Using translation from Bukhārī 6197)  

أحمد:١٥٨٨٠ – حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي  

ahmad:7553 – Yaʿlá And Yazīd > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr > Abū Salamah > Abū Hurayrah

“Whoever sees me in a dream has (really) seen me, for Satan cannot appear in my form.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3901)   

أحمد:٧٥٥٣ – حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى وَيَزِيدُ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
