bukhari:5273 – Azhar b. Jamīl

The wife of Thabit bin Qais came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! I do not blame Thabit for defects in his character or his religion, but I, being a Muslim, dislike to behave in un-Islamic manner (if I remain with him)." On that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said (to her), "Will you give back the garden which your husband has given you (as Mahr)?" She said, "Yes." Then the Prophet ﷺ said to Thabit, "O Thabit! Accept your garden, and divorce her once."  

البخاري:٥٢٧٣ – حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ امْرَأَةَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ثَابِتُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ مَا أَعْتُبُ عَلَيْهِ فِي خُلُقٍ وَلاَ دِينٍ وَلَكِنِّي أَكْرَهُ الْكُفْرَ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَتَرُدِّينَ عَلَيْهِ حَدِيقَتَهُ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اقْبَلِ الْحَدِيقَةَ وَطَلِّقْهَا تَطْلِيقَةً قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ لَا يُتَابَعُ فِيهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

The Messenger of Allah said: "Will you give him back his garden?" She said: "Yes." The Messenger of Allah said: "Take back the garden and divorce her once."

Jamilah bint Salul came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "By Allah, I do not find any fault with Thabit regarding his religion nor his behavior, but I hate disbelief after becoming Muslim and I cannot stand him. "The Prophet ﷺ said to her: 'WiIl you give him back his garden?" She said: "Yes." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told him to take back his garden from her and no more than that.  

ابن ماجة:٢٠٥٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

[Machine] "Jameela, the daughter of Umayyah bin Salul, came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have no issue with Thabit bin Qais in terms of his character or religion, but I cannot tolerate his animosity towards me and I hate disbelief in Islam.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked her, 'Would you return his garden to him?' She replied, 'Yes.' So the Prophet ﷺ commanded Thabit to take from her what he had given her and not ask for more."

[Machine] Jameela, the daughter of Ubayy ibn Salul, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have no complaint about Thabit in his character or religion, but I hate disbelief in Islam." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked her, "Do you want to return his garden to him?" She replied, "Yes." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned his garden to him. Jameela bint Thabit ibn Abi Al-Aflah Al-Ansariyyah, the wife of Umar ibn Al-Khattab, was separated from him.  

الطبراني:٢١٠٠٨ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُعَاذٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ شَاذَانَ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ وَأَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked her, "Do you want to return his garden to him?" She replied, "Yes." So the Prophet ﷺ ordered him to take back from her what he had given her, and he would not get any more.  

الطبراني:١١٨٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ثنا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

[Machine] A woman named Thabit came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "By Allah, I do not find any fault in him in terms of his character or religion, but I dislike disbelief after accepting Islam." He asked her, "Would you return his garden?" She said, "Yes." He said, "O Thabit, accept the garden and grant him freedom by divorcing him once."  

الطبراني:١١٩٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
