Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have five names: I am (1) Muḥammad and (2) Aḥmad; and I am (3) al-Māḥī through whom Allah will eliminate infidelity; and I am (4) al-Ḥāshir who will be the first to be resurrected, the ˹rest˺ of the people being resurrected after that; and I am (5) al-ʿĀqib (the last one after whom there will be no other prophet).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لِي خَمْسَةُ أَسْمَاءٍ: (١) أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، (٢) وَأَحْمَدُ، (٣) وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِي الْكُفْرَ، (٤) وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدَمِي، (٥) وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ۔»

I am Muhammad and I am Ahmad, and I am al-Mahi (the obliterator) by whom unbelief would be obliterated, and I am Hashir (the gatherer) at whose feet mankind will be gathered, and I am 'Aqib (the last to come) after whom there will be no Prophet.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يُمْحَى بِيَ الْكُفْرُ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى عَقِبِي وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ وَالْعَاقِبُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ بَعْدَهُ نَبِيُّ

I have many names: I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am al-Mahi through whom Allah obliterates unbelief, and I am Hashir (the gatherer) at whose feet people will be gathered, and I am 'Aqib (after whom there would be none), and Allah has named him as compassionate and merciful.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِي أَسْمَاءً أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِيَ الْكُفْرَ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدَمَىَّ وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ بَعْدَهُ أَحَدٌ وَقَدْ سَمَّاهُ اللَّهُ رَءُوفًا رَحِيمًا

from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I have some names: I am Muhammad, I am Ahmad, I am Al-Mahi, the one by whom Allah wipes out disbelief, I am Al-Hasir, the one whom the people are gathered at his feet, and I am Al-'Aqib, the one after whom there is no Prophet."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِي أَسْمَاءً أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِيَ الْكُفْرَ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدَمِي وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ

Malik related to me from Ibn Shihab from Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mutim that the Prophet ﷺ said, "I have five names. I am Muhammad. I am Ahmad. I am al-Mahi (the effacer), by whom Allah effaces kufr. I am al-Hashir (the gatherer), before whom people are gathered. I am al-Aqib (the last)."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, I have names. I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad, and I am Al-Mahi, for Allah will wipe out disbelief through me. And I am Al-Hashir, as the people will be gathered before me. And I am also Al-Aqib." So I asked Sufyan, "What is Al-Aqib?" He said, "The last of the Prophets."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ لِي أَسْمَاءً أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي يَمْحُو اللهُ بِيَ الْكُفْرَ وَالْحَاشِرُ يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدَمِي وَالْعَاقِبُ» فَسَأَلْتُ سُفْيَانَ مَا الْعَاقِبُ؟ قَالَ «آخِرُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ»

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'I have several names: I am Muhammad and I am Ahmad, and I am Al- Mahi with whom Allah obliterates Kufr (disbelief), and I am Al-Hashir (gatherer) at whose feet (i.e. behind whom) the people will be gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), and I am Al-Aqib (i.e. who succeeds the other prophets in bringing about good). [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am Ahmad, and I am Muhammad, and I am the one who will gather people on my feet, and I am the one whom Allah will eradicate disbelief through. So, on the Day of Judgment, the flag of praise will be with me, and I will be the leader of the messengers and the companion of their intercession."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي أَحْشُرُ النَّاسَ عَلَى قَدَمِي وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللهُ بِيَ الْكُفْرَ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ لِوَاءُ الْحَمْدِ مَعِي وَكُنْتُ إِمَامَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَصَاحِبُ شَفَاعَتِهِمْ»

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have five names: I am Muhammad and Ahmad; I am Al-Mahi through whom Allah will eliminate infidelity; I am Al-Hashir who will be the first to be resurrected, the people being resurrected there after; and I am also Al-ʿAqib (i.e. There will be no prophet after me). "أَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، وَأَنَا الحَاشرُ الَّذى أُحْشرُ النَّاسَ عَلَى قَدَمَىَّ، وَأَنَا المَاحى الَّذى يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِى الْكُفْرَ، فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ القيَامَة كَانَ لوَاءُ الحمد مَعى، وَكُنْتُ إِمَامَ المُرْسَلين، وَصَاحبَ شَفَاعَتهِم" .

"إِنَّ لى أَسْمَاءً، أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، وأَنَا أَحمدُ، وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِى يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ على قَدَمَىَّ وأَنَا الْمَاحِى الَّذِى يَمْحُوَ اللَّه بِى الْكُفْرَ، وأَنا الْعَاقِبُ، الذى لَيْسَ بعده نبىٌّ".
