23.29 (Is it permissible for) woman to accompany the funeral procession

٢٣۔٢٩ باب اتِّبَاعِ النِّسَاءِ الْجَنَائِزَ

bukhari:1278 – Qabīṣah b. ʿUqbah > Sufyān > Khālid al-Ḥadhhāʾ > Um al-Hudhayl > Um ʿAṭiyyah > Nuhīnā

We were forbidden to accompany funeral processions but not strictly.  

البخاري:١٢٧٨ – حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أُمِّ الْهُذَيْلِ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ ؓ قَالَتْ نُهِينَا

عَنِ اتِّبَاعِ الْجَنَائِزِ وَلَمْ يُعْزَمْ عَلَيْنَا
