البزّار:٨٧٥٣ – حَدَّثَنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُور قالا حَدَّثَنا عبد الرزاق أَخْبَرنَا معمر عن همام عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إنما سمي الخضر لأنه صلى على فروة بيضاء فاهتزت تحته خضراء

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "He was called Al-Khadir because he sat on a barren Farwah and it turned green beneath him."

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ-Gharīb.

الترمذي:٣١٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا سُمِّيَ الْخَضِرَ لأَنَّهُ جَلَسَ عَلَى فَرْوَةٍ بَيْضَاءَ فَاهْتَزَّتْ تَحْتَهُ خَضْرَاءَ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ

ذِكْرُ السَّبَبِ الَّذِي مِنْ أَجْلِهِ سُمَيَّ الْخَضِرُ خَضِرًا
