The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "It is better for one of you to sit on a live coal that burns his clothes and reaches his skin than to sit on a grave."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لَأَنْ يَجْلِسَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ، فَتُحْرِقَ ثِيَابَهُ، فَتَخْلُصَ إِلَى جِلْدِهِ، خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: It is better that one of you should sit on the live coals which burns his clothing and come in contact with his skin than that he should sit on a grave.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لأَنْ يَجْلِسَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ فَتَحْرِقَ ثِيَابَهُ حَتَّى تَخْلُصَ إِلَى جِلْدِهِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If any one of you were to sit on a live coal until it burns his garment, that would be better for him than sitting on a grave."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لأَنْ يَجْلِسَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ حَتَّى تَحْرِقَ ثِيَابَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “If one of you were to sit on a live coal that burns him, that would be better for him than if he were to sit on a grave.”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَأَنْ يَجْلِسَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ فَتُحْرِقَ ثِيَابَهُ حَتَّى تُفْضِيَ إِلَى جِلْدِهِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَأَنْ يَجْلِسَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ فَتُحْرِقَ ثِيَابَهُ حَتَّى تَخْلُصَ إِلَيْهِ خَيْرٌ لُهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَطَأَ عَلَى قَبْرِ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَأَنْ يَجْلِسَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ حَتَّى تَحْتَرِقَ ثِيَابُهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَأَنَّ يَجْلِسَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ فَتُحْرِقَ ثِيَابَهُ حَتَّى تَخْلُصَ إِلَيْهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ يَقْعُدَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ لا طيرة وأحب الفأل قيل وما الفأل؟ قال الكلمة الطيبة يسمعها أحدكم وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عن عُبَيد الله عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ النعمان والنعمان صالح الحديث

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لا ينصرف أحدكم حتى يسمع صوتا أو يجد ريحا وَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمْهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي هريرة ؓ إلا من حديث سهيل عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة ؓ

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الأرواح جنود مجندة فما تعارف منها ائتلف وما تنافر منها اختلف وهذا الحديثُ لا نعلم يروى عن أبي هريرة ؓ إلا من حديث سهيل عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة ؓ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَأَنْ يَجْلِسَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ حَتَّى تَحْرِقَ ثِيَابَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ»

"لأَنْ يَجْلِسَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ فَتَحْتَرِقَ ثِيَابُه فَتَخَلُصَ إِلَى جِلْدهِ خَيرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ".
