Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "O Abu Bakr, there are three situations, all of which are true. For no servant who is wronged without Allah granting him relief because of it, nor has anyone opened the door seeking closeness to Allah except that Allah has increased him in abundance, and no one has opened the door of begging seeking abundance except that Allah has made him more needy."

أَنَّ رَجُلًا شَتَمَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ جَالِسٌ فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَعْجَبُ وَيَتَبَسَّمُ فَلَمَّا أَكْثَرَ رَدَّ عَلَيْهِ بَعْضَ قَوْلِهِ فَغَضِبَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَقَامَ فَلَحِقَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَانَ يَشْتُمُنِي وَأَنْتَ جَالِسٌ فَلَمَّا رَدَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ بَعْضَ قَوْلِهِ غَضِبْتَ وَقُمْتَ قَالَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَكَ مَلَكٌ يَرُدُّ عَنْكَ فَلَمَّا رَدَدْتَ عَلَيْهِ بَعْضَ قَوْلِهِ وَقَعَ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلَمْ أَكُنْ لِأَقْعُدَ مَعَ الشَّيْطَانِ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ ثَلَاثٌ كُلُّهُنَّ حَقٌّ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ ظُلِمَ بِمَظْلَمَةٍ فَيُغْضِي عَنْهَا لِلَّهِ ﷻ إِلَّا أَعَزَّ اللهُ بِهَا نَصْرَهُ وَمَا فَتَحَ رَجُلٌ بَابَ عَطِيَّةٍ يُرِيدُ بِهَا صِلَةً إِلَّا زَادَهُ اللهُ بِهَا كَثْرَةً وَمَا فَتَحَ رَجُلٌ بَابَ مَسْأَلَةٍ يُرِيدُ بِهَا كَثْرَةً إِلَّا زَادَهُ اللهُ ﷻ بِهَا قِلَّةً

Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Abu Bakr, there is no servant who is wronged and accepts it for the sake of Allah except that Allah grants him victory because of it."
