When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished the prayer, he called out to him, saying, "O Fulan (so-and-so), do you not fear Allah? Do you not see how you pray? Indeed, you all can see things that are hidden from me that you do. By Allah, I truly see from behind me as I see in front of me."

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ وَفِي مُؤَخَّرِ الصُّفُوفِ رَجُلٌ فَأَسَاءَ الصَّلَاةَ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ نَادَاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا فُلَانُ أَلَا تَتَّقِي اللهَ؟ أَلَا تَرَى كَيْفَ تُصَلِّي؟ إِنَّكُمْ تَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ يَخْفَى عَلَيَّ شَيْءٌ مِمَّا تَصْنَعُونَ وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَرَى مِنْ خَلْفِي كَمَا أَرَى مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ

Don't you pay attention to how you pray? Indeed, when any of you stands for prayer, he is conversing privately with his Lord, so let him pay attention to how he converses with Him. صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ نَادَى رَجُلًا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ الصُّفُوفِ فَقَالَ «يَا فُلَانُ أَلَا تَتَّقِي اللَّهَ؟ أَلَا تَنْظُرُ كَيْفَ تُصَلِّي؟ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا قَامَ يُصَلِّي إِنَّمَا يَقُومُ يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ فَلْيَنْظُرْ كَيْفَ يُنَاجِيهِ إِنَّكُمْ تَرَوْنَ أَنِّي لَا أَرَاكُمْ إِنِّي وَاللَّهِ لَأَرَى مِنْ خَلْفِ ظَهْرِي كَمَا أَرَى مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ»

"يَا فُلَانُ: أَلَا تَتَّقِى الله؟ أَلَا تَنْظُرُ كَيْفَ تُصَلِّى؟ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا قَامَ يُصَلِّى إِنَّمَا يَقُومُ يُنَاجِى رَبَّهُ، فَلْيَنْظُرْ كَيْفَ يُنَاجيهِ، إِنَّكُمْ تَروْنَ أَنِّى لَا أَرَاكُمْ، إِنِّى وَالله لأَرَى مَنْ خَلْفَ ظَهْرى، كَمَا أَرَى مَنْ بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ".
