The Prophet ﷺ informed his companions about the death of An-Najashi and then he went ahead (to lead the prayer) and the people lined up behind him in rows and he said four Takbir.

نَعَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَى أَصْحَابِهِ النَّجَاشِيَّ ثُمَّ تَقَدَّمَ فَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا

"The Messenger of Allah announced the death of An-Najashi to his Companions in Al-Madinah, so they formed rows behind him and he offered the funeral prayer for him, saying the Takbir four times."

نَعَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ النَّجَاشِيَّ لأَصْحَابِهِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ إِنِّي لَمْ أَفْهَمْهُ كَمَا أَرَدْتَ

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ mourned Al-Najashi to his companions while he was in Medina, so they lined up behind him, prayed for him, and said "Allahu akbar" (Allah is the greatest) four times.

نَعَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ النَّجَاشِيَّ لِأَصْحَابِهِ وَهُوَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mourned for us for Al-Najashi on the day he died. He went out to the Musalla (prayer area) and his companions lined up behind him, and he performed four takbirs (saying "Allahu Akbar" four times) on his grave.

نَعَى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ النَّجَاشِيَّ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ فَخَرَجَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى فَصَفَّ أَصْحَابُهُ خَلْفَهُ وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mourned for us today for the day in which Al-Najashi died. So, he went out to the prayer ground and his companions lined up behind him, and he performed the funeral prayer for him four times.

[AI] The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , mourned the death of Al-Najashi amongst his companions in Medina. They lined up behind him and he prayed for him and said the funeral prayers four times.
