If you were to come to the people of 'Uman, they would have neither reviled you nor beaten you.
[AI] I heard Abu Barzah say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a man to a neighborhood of the Arab tribes, and they hit him and insulted him. So he returned to the Prophet ﷺ and complained to him about it. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "If you had come to the people of Oman, they would neither have hit you nor insulted you."

[AI] Abu Al-Wazi' narrated that a man from the Banu Rasib said, "I heard Abu Barzah say, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a messenger to a tribe from the tribes of the Arabs regarding something that the guide did not know. So they insulted him and beat him. He complained about that to the Prophet ﷺ , and he said, 'If you were from the people of Oman, they would not have insulted you or beaten you.'"

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a man to a tribe among the Arab tribes for something that I don't know what he said. They insulted him and beat him, so he returned to the Prophet ﷺ and complained to him. The Prophet ﷺ said, "But if my messenger had gone to the people of Oman, they would not have insulted him or beaten him."
