البزّار:١٠٣١وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ نا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ نا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ مُصْعَبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى

بِقَصْعَةٍ فِيهَا ثَرِيدٌ فَأَكَلُوا مِنْهَا فَفَضَلَتْ مِنْهَا فَضْلَةٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ هَذِهِ الْفَضْلَةَ أَوْ تِلْكَ الْفَضْلَةَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَكُنْتُ تَرَكْتُ أَخِي عُمَيْرًا فِي الْبَيْتِ فَرَجَوْتُ أَنْ يَكُونَ هُوَ فَجَاءَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ فَأَكَلَهَا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ إِلَّا عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ وَرَوَاهُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ

A man from Paradise eats the remainder

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ was brought a bowl, and he ate from it, and some remained. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man from this mountain pass, from the people of Paradise, will come and eat this remainder." Sa'd said, "I had left my brother Umair performing ablution." He said, "So I said, 'It is Umair.'" He said, "Then Abdullah ibn Salam came and ate it."

أحمد:١٤٥٨حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا، فَفَضَلَتْ فَضْلَةٌ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «يَجِيءُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْفَجِّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ يَأْكُلُ هَذِهِ الْفَضْلَةَ». قَالَ سَعْدٌ: وَكُنْتُ تَرَكْتُ أَخِي عُمَيْرًا يَتَوَضَّأُ. قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ هُوَ عُمَيْرٌ. قَالَ: فَجَاءَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ فَأَكَلَهَا.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was brought a plate of Tharid (a type of bread) and he ate from it. He had a leftover piece and he said, "A man from the people of Paradise will enter through this door and eat this piece." Saad said, "I left my brother Umair ibn Abi Waqqas preparing himself to meet the Prophet ﷺ , and I hoped it would be him." Then Abdullah ibn Salam came and ate it.
