[Machine] On the authority of Thawban, the servant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting for one month with ten days added to it, followed by two months of fasting, completes the year. That is, fasting in Ramadan and six days after it."

عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ صِيَامُ شَهْرٍ بِعَشَرَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَسِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ بَعْدَهُ بِشَهْرَيْنِ فَذَلِكَ تَمَامُ السَّنَةِ يَعْنِي رَمَضَانَ وَسِتَّةَ أَيَّامٍ بَعْدَهُ

Fasting six days in Shawwal after Ramadan is like the reward of fasting for a whole year

ahmad:22412 – al-Ḥakam b. Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿAyyāsh > Yaḥyá b. al-Ḥārith al-Dhimārī > Abū Asmāʾ al-Raḥabī > Thawbān

From the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan, then one month ˹is equivalent˺ to ten. And fasting and fasting for six days after the Fitr (end of Ramadan), that is ˹like˺ fasting for a year."  

أحمد:٢٢٤١٢ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الذِّمَارِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ فَشَهْرٌ بِعَشَرَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَصِيَامُ سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ بَعْدَ الْفِطْرِ فَذَلِكَ تَمَامُ صِيَامِ السَّنَةِ

الدارمي:١٧٩٦ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الذِّمَارِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ
