[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , a man asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, should I fast on Mondays?" He replied, "I was born on this day and the Quran was revealed to me on this day."  

البيهقي:٨٤٣٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ دَرَسْتَوَيْهِ النَّحْوِيُّ ثنا أَبُو يُوسُفَ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ وَالْحَجَّاجُ قَالَا ثنا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ثنا غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ الزِّمَّانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَوْمُ يَوْمِ الِاثْنَيْنِ قَالَ فِيهِ وُلِدْتُ وَفِيهِ أُنْزِلَ عَلَيَّ الْقُرْآنُ  

أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَهْدِيِّ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ
