The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who sat in the middle of a circle. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4826)   

البيهقي:٥٩٠٩ – وَقَدْ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ لَاحِقِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو مِجْلَزٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَعَدَ وَسَطَ الْحَلْقَةِ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ مَلْعُونٌ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ أَوْ قَالَ

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ الَّذِي يَجْلِسُ وَسَطَ الْحَلْقَةِ
