[Machine] Ali said, "There is no prayer for the neighbor of the mosque except in the mosque." It was said, "Who is the neighbor of the mosque?" He said, "Whoever hears the caller."
قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ لَا صَلَاةَ لِجَارِ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قِيلَ وَمَنْ جَارُ الْمَسْجِدِ؟ قَالَ مَنْ أَسْمَعَهُ الْمُنَادِي
“One prayer in this mosque of mine is better than one thousand prayers in any other mosque except the Sacred Mosque.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1405)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ
[Machine] Ali said, "There is no prayer for the neighbor of the mosque except in the mosque."
قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ لَا صَلَاةَ لِجَارِ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ
[Machine] There is no prayer for the neighbor of the mosque except in the mosque. So he was asked, who is the neighbor of the mosque? He said, the one who hears the caller.
لَا صَلَاةَ لِجَارِ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ وَمَنْ جَارُ الْمَسْجِدِ؟ قَالَ مَنْ أَسْمَعَهُ الْمُنَادِي
اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ صَلاةٌ فِي مسجدي هذا خير من ألف فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ إلاَّ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ
" عَنْ أبِى حَيَّانَ، عَنْ أبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: لاَ صَلاَةَ لِجَارِ المَسْجِدِ إِلاّ فِى المَسْجِدِ، قِيلَ لِعَلِىٍّ: وَمَا جَارُ المَسْجِدِ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ سَمِعَ النِّدَاءَ ".
