[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the second day of the conquest (of Mecca) and I said, "O Messenger of Allah, give my allegiance to my father for migration." He said, "Rather, I will give my allegiance to him for jihad. Migration has ended on the day of the conquest." This is how I found it, and indeed it is 'Amr ibn 'Abdul-Rahman.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No, I will pledge allegiance to him for jihad, as migration has come to an end." 'Amr ibn Al-Harith narrated this from Ibn Shihab, and 'Umar ibn Abdul Rahman ibn Umamah ibn Akil said.
