“My freed slave died, leaving behind a daughter. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided his wealth between myself and his daughter, giving me half and her half.”
مَاتَ مَوْلاَىَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَةً فَقَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَالَهُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ ابْنَتِهِ فَجَعَلَ لِيَ النِّصْفَ وَلَهَا النِّصْفَ
[AI] That the daughter of Hamza freed a slave owned by her, but he died and left behind his daughter and his slave woman, the daughter of Hamza. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then divided his inheritance between his daughter and the daughter of Hamza equally into two parts.
