[Machine] Abdulrahman ibn Shibl, a man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ , reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, the merchants are among the wicked ones." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, did Allah not permit trading?" He replied, "Yes, but they swear falsely and commit sins."

البيهقي:١٠٤١٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَوَّامِّ ثنا أَبُو عَامِرٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ

عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ هُمُ الْفُجَّارُ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَمْ يَحِلَّ اللهُ الْبَيْعَ؟ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنَّهُمْ يَحْلِفُونَ فَيَأْثَمُونَ

[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Verily, the traders are the wicked ones.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, but hasn't Allah made trade lawful?' He replied: 'Yes, indeed, but they engage in lying, swearing falsely, and committing sins.'"

وَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ هُمُ الْفُجَّارُ قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوَلَيْسَ قَدْ أَحَلَّ اللهُ الْبَيْعَ؟ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنَّهُمْ يُحَدِّثُونَ فَيَكْذِبُونَ وَيَحْلِفُونَ وَيَأْثَمُونَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ هُمُ الْفُجَّارُ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ الْبَيْعَ؟ قَالَ «بَلَى وَلَكِنَّهُمْ يَحْلِفُونَ فَيَأْثَمُونَ وَيُحَدِّثُونَ فَيَكْذِبُونَ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَقَدْ ذَكَرَ هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ سَمَاعَ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ مِنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ وَهِشَامٌ ثِقَةٌ مَأْمُونٌ وَأَدْخَلَ أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارِ بَيْنَهُمَا زَيْدَ بْنَ سَلَّامٍصحيح

"إِنَّ التُّجارَ هُم الفجارُ. قالوا: يا رسولَ الله، أليس قد أحلَّ الله البيعَ؟ قال: بلى، ولكنهم يُحَدِّثونَ فَيَكْذِبُونَ، ويحلِفون فيأثَمُونَ".
