When he got down from his ride at a place, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to never to start riding again unless he had prayed two rakʿahs there.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا نَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا لَمْ يَرْتَحِلْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ

"إِذَا نَزَلَ أحدُكُمْ منْزِلًا فقال فيه، فلا يَرْحل حتَّى يُصلِّى ركعتينِ" .
When he got down from his ride at a place, the Prophet ﷺ used to never to start riding again unless he prayed al-Zuhr even if half the day ˹had passed˺.
" كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا نَزَلَ مَنْزِلا لَمْ يَرْتَحِلْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّىَ الطهْرَ وَإنْ كَانَ نِصْف النَّهَارِ".
"عَنْ إبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ إِذَا نَزَلُوا فِى مَنْزِلٍ لَمْ يَرْتَحِلُوا حَتَّى يُصَلُّوا [الظُّهرَ]، وَإِنْ عَجَّلُوا".
