When he got down from his ride at a place, the Prophet ﷺ used to never to start riding again unless he prayed al-Zuhr even if half the day ˹had passed˺.  

السيوطي:٨٥-٢٠b

" كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا نَزَلَ مَنْزِلا لَمْ يَرْتَحِلْ حَتَّى يُصَلِّىَ الطهْرَ وَإنْ كَانَ نِصْف النَّهَارِ".
