Messenger of Allah, I intend to perform Hajj, but I am ill. Thereupon Allah's Apostle ﷺ said: Enter Into the state of Ihram on condition that you would abandon it when Allah would detain you.

دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ وَأَنَا شَاكِيَةٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ حُجِّي وَاشْتَرِطِي أَنَّ مَحِلِّي حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي

Messenger of Allah, I intend to perform Hajj, but I am ill. Thereupon Allah's Apostle ﷺ said: Enter Into the state of Ihram on condition that you would abandon it when Allah would detain you. (Using translation from Muslim 1207b)

دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ وَأَنَا شَاكِيَةٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ حُجِّي وَاشْتَرِطِي أَنَّ مَحِلِّي حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered upon Du'bah, the daughter of Zubayr ibn Abd al-Muttalib, while she was complaining. She said, "I wish to perform Hajj but I am unable to. "The Prophet ﷺ said to her, "Perform Hajj and make the condition that you say: 'O Allah, my place of residence is wherever You have confined me.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَى ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَهِيَ شَاكِيَةٌ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ وَإِنِّي شَاكِيَةٌ فَقَالَ «حُجِّي وَاشْتَرِطِي قُولِي اللهُمَّ إِنَّ مَحِلِّي حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي»

"Duba'ah bint Az-Zubair bin 'Abdul-Muttalib came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'I am a heavy woman and I want to go for Hajj. How do I begin the Ihram?' He said: 'Enter Ihram and stipulate the condition that you will exit Ihram from the point where you are prevented (from continuing, if some problem should arise)." (Sahih) Ishaq said: I said to 'Abdur-Razzaq: Both from 'Aishah, HIsham and Az-Zuhir? He said: "Yes" Abu 'Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa'i) said: I do not know of anyone who narrated this chain from Az-Zuhri except Ma'mar. Chpater 61. What Is Done By The One Who Was Prevented During Hajj Without Having Stipulated Condition (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2768)

دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى ضُبَاعَةَ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي شَاكِيَةٌ وَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «حُجِّي وَاشْتَرِطِي أَنَّ مَحِلِّي حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي» قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَهِشَامٍ وَالزُّهْرِيٍّ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ لَا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ حَدِيثَ الزُّهْرِيِّ غَيْرَ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , entered the house of Zubayra bint al-Zubayr ibn Abdul-Muttalib and said to her, "It seems like you want to perform Hajj (pilgrimage)." She replied, "I find myself in a difficult situation." He said to her, "Perform Hajj, but make a condition that my place of stay is where you have confined me." She was staying under the guardianship of Mikdad ibn al-Aswad.
