When anyone wipes himself with pebbles (after answering the call of nature) he must make use of an odd number and when any one of you performs ablution he must snuff in his nose water and then clean it.

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْعَلْ فِي أَنْفِهِ مَاءً ثُمَّ لْيَنْتَثِرْ

When anyone wipes himself with pebbles (after answering the call of nature) he should do this odd number of times.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُوتِرْ

"If one of you consults his brother, then let him advise him."

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَشَارَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُشِرْ عَلَيْهِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُوتِرْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you perform ablution, one of you should insist on rinsing the mouth and when you take in the water through the nose, you should blow it out."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَنْثِرْ وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you performs ablution, let him rinse his nose, and when he performs istijmar (cleansing with stones after using the bathroom), let him do it an odd number of times."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَنْثِرْ وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُوتِرْ

[AI] The following passage translates to: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you applies kohl (eyeliner), let him do so with an odd number, and when one of you performs istinja (cleansing after using the bathroom), let him do so with an odd number."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you applies kohl, let them apply it in odd numbers. And when one of you performs istinja, let them perform it in odd numbers."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُوتِرْ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever performs ablution, let him clean his nose, and whoever uses pebbles to clean himself after defecating, let him use an odd number.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 409)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ

When anyone wipes himself with pebbles (after answering the call of nature) he should do this odd number of times. (Using translation from Muslim 239)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُوتِرْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you wants to perform istijmar (cleansing after using the restroom), let him do it three times."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ ثَلَاثًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you prays, let him cover himself for his prayer, even if it is with an arrow."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ لِصَلَاتِهِ وَلَوْ بِسَهْمٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited using kohl and disliked drinking hot water. He used to apply kohl to his eyes in an odd number and would perform Istinshaaq also in an odd number.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْكَيِّ وَكَانَ يَكْرَهُ شُرْبَ الْحَمِيمِ وَكَانَ إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ اكْتَحَلَ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ اسْتَجْمَرَ وِتْرًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you performs 'Istijmar', then let him perform 'Witr'. And when one of you applies 'kohl', then let him apply 'Witr'."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اكْتَحَلَ فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one of you applies kohl (eyeliner), let them apply it in odd numbers, and when one of you performs istijmar (cleaning oneself after using the bathroom), let them perform it in odd numbers."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you wakes up, let him rinse his mouth three times."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا بَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَنْتُرْ ذَكَرَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should neglect his prayer, even if it is with an arrow."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيَسْتُرْ أَحَدُكُمْ صَلَاتَهُ وَلَوْ بِسَهْمٍ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you wakes up in the morning and has not performed the Witr prayer, let them perform it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَصْبَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَمْ يُوتِرْ فَلْيُوتِرْ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you asks, let him ask abundantly, for indeed he is asking his Lord."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا سَأَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُكْثِرْ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْأَلُ رَبَّهُ»

When any one of you fights with his brother he should avoid striking at the face. (Using translation from Muslim 2612a)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قَاتَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْتَنِبِ الْوَجْهَ»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ إذا استجمر أحدكم فليوتر

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "One of you should cover himself during his prayer, even with an arrow."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِيَسْتَتِرْ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ وَلَوْ بِسَهْمٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you buys food, do not sell it until you receive it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا اشْتَرَى أَحَدُكُمْ طَعَامًا فَلَا يَبِعْهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you stands up for prayer, he should not close his eyes."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَغْمِضْ عَيْنَيْهِ»

[AI] He heard Uqbah bin Amir saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wearing the Kuhl (antimony) and disliked drinking hot water. And when he applied Kuhl, he applied it to the right eye first, and when he performed Istijmar (cleaning the private parts after using the bathroom), he did it with an odd number of stones."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْكَيِّ وَكَانَ يَكْرَهُ شُرْبَ مَاءِ الْحَمِيمِ وَكَانَ إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ اكْتَحَلَ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ اسْتَجْمَرَ وِتْرًا»

[AI] Al-Qa'nabi narrated that Ibn Lahi'a has narrated from al-Harith bin Yazid, from Abdullah bin Jubayr, from 'Uqbah bin 'Amir, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you applies kohl, let him apply it three times, and when one of you performs istijmar, let him perform it three times."

ثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَكْتَحِلْ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيَسْتَجْمِرْ وِتْرًا»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to "apply kohl to his eyes in odd numbers and wash his face in odd numbers."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «إِذَا اكْتَحَلَ اكْتَحَلَ وِتْرًا وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ اسْتَجْمَرَ وِتْرًا»

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If anyone of you touches his penis, let him perform ablution.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 479)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا مَسَّ أَحَدُكُمْ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

" إذا استَجْمَر أحدُكم فليُوتِر" .

" إذا استجمر أحدُكم فليستجمرْ ثلاثًا" .

"إذا اكْتَحل أحدُكم فليَكْتَحل وتْرًا، وإذا اسْتَجْمَر فليستجمر وتْرًا" .

"إذَا توضَّأ أحدُكمْ فليَسْتنْثِر، وإذا اسْتَجْمر فلْيوتِرْ".
