"A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Which emigration (Hijrah) is best?' He said: 'To leave what your Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, dislikes.' He said: 'There are two kinds of emigration, the emigration of the town dweller and the emigration of the Bedouin. As for the Bedouin, when he is called (to fight in Jihad) he must respond, and he must obey when he is commanded, and as for the town dweller, he is the one who is more severely tested and more greatly rewarded."'  

رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ الْهِجْرَةِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ أَنْ تَهْجُرَ مَا كَرِهَ رَبُّكَ ﷻ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْهِجْرَةُ هِجْرَتَانِ هِجْرَةُ الْحَاضِرِ وَهِجْرَةُ الْبَادِي فَأَمَّا الْبَادِي فَيُجِيبُ إِذَا دُعِيَ وَيُطِيعُ إِذَا أُمِرَ وَأَمَّا الْحَاضِرُ فَهُوَ أَعْظَمُهُمَا بَلِيَّةً وَأَعْظَمُهُمَا أَجْرًا  

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Migration is of two types: the migration of a person who responds when called and obeys when commanded, and the migration of a person who remains steadfast in the face of difficulties and adversities, which is considered the most challenging and rewarding."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْهِجْرَةُ هِجْرَتَانِ فَأَمَّا هِجْرَةُ الْبَادِي يُجِيبُ إِذَا دُعِيَ وَيُطِيعُ إِذَا أُمِرَ وَأَمَّا هِجْرَةُ الْحَاضِرِ فَهِيَ أَشَدُّهُمَا بَلِيَّةً وَأَعْظَمُهُمَا أَجْرًا»

قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ «أَيُّ الْهِجْرَةِ أَفْضَلُ» قَالَ «أَنْ تُهْجَرَ مَا كَرِهَ اللهُ وَالْهِجْرَةُ هِجْرَتَانِ هِجْرَةُ الْحَاضِرِ وَهِجْرَةُ الْبَادِي فَأَمَّا الْبَادِي فَإِنَّهُ يُطِيعُ إِذَا أُمِرَ وَيُجِيبُ إِذَا دُعِيَ وَأَمَّا الْحَاضِرُ فَأَعْظَمُهُمَا بَلِيَّةً وَأَفْضَلُهُمَا أَجْرًا»  

"أفْضَلْ الإِسلام أن يَسْلَمَ المسلمونَ من لسانِك ويَدِك، وأفضلُ الهجرةِ أن تهجُرَ ما كرِه رَبُّكَ، والهجرةُ هِجْرتانِ: هجْرةُ الحاضِرِ، وهجرةُ البادِى، فهجرة البادى أن يُجيبَ إذا دُعِى، ويطيعَ إذا أُمِرَ، وهجرةُ الحاضر أعظَمُهُمَا "بيته" أفْضَلُهُما أجرًا".  

"الْهِجْرَةُ هِجْرَتَانِ، هِجْرَةُ الْحَاضِرِ، وَهجْرَةُ الْبَادِى، فَأَمَّا الْبَادى فَيُجِيبُ إِذَا دُعِي، وَيُطِيعُ إِذَا أُمِرَ، وأَمَّا الْحَاضِرُ فَهُوَ أَعْظَمُهُمَا بَلِيَّةً، وأَعْظَمُهُمَا أَجْرًا" .
