[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "Do not prevent your women from going to the mosques at night." Salim or one of his sons said, "By Allah, we will not let them take it as a deceit." The Prophet ﷺ then slapped his chest and said, "Shall I inform you about the status of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and say, 'This is what he said?'"  

أحمد:٥٠٢١حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا تَمْنَعُوا نِسَاءَكُمُ الْمَسَاجِدَ بِاللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ سَالِمٌ أَوْ بَعْضُ بَنِيهِ وَاللهِ لَا نَدَعُهُنَّ يَتَّخِذْنَهُ دَغَلًا قَالَ فَلَطَمَ صَدْرَهُ وَقَالَ أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَتَقُولُ هَذَا

Grant permission to women for going to the mosque in the night. His son who was called Waqid said: Then they would make mischief. He (the narrator) said: He thumped his (son's) chest and said: I am narrating to you the hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and you say: No!

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ائْذَنُوا لِلنِّسَاءِ بِاللَّيْلِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ فَقَالَ ابْنٌ لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهُ وَاقِدٌ إِذًا يَتَّخِذْنَهُ دَغَلاً قَالَ فَضَرَبَ فِي صَدْرِهِ وَقَالَ أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَتَقُولُ لاَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah said, "Do not prevent women from going to the mosques at night." His son said, "By Allah, we will prevent them!" So the Messenger of Allah raised his hand and slapped him, saying, "I'm telling you about the Messenger of Allah and you're saying what you're saying."  

الطبراني:١٣٤٧٢حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أنا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَمْنَعُوا النِّسَاءَ الْمَسَاجِدَ بِاللَّيْلِ» فَقَالَ ابْنُهُ وَاللهِ لَنَمْنَعُهُنَّ فَمَدَّ يَدَهُ فَلَطَمَهُ وَقَالَ «أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَتَقُولُ مَا تَقُولُ»

[Machine] The prophet ﷺ said, "Do not prevent women from going to the mosques at night." So, his son said, "By Allah, we will prevent them, as they might take it as a place for mischief." Then, the prophet ﷺ raised his hand and slapped his son on the chest, saying, "I am telling you about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and you say this?" Al-Bukhari said, "Shu'ba narrated it from Al-A'mash, and Muslim narrated it from two other narrators from Al-A'mash."
