ahmad:3383 – Ismāʿīl > Ayyūb > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Whoever makes a picture will be commanded on the Day of Resurrection to breathe soul into it, and he will be punished, but he will not be able to breathe soul into it. And whoever imitates Allah in the creation of living beings, they will be required on the Day of Resurrection to bring them to life, and they will be punished, but they will not be able to bring them to life. And whoever listens to the conversation of people who dislike it, molten lead will be poured into his ears on the Day of Resurrection." Isma'il, meaning the bullet, said: "Does that include the pouring of melted lead?"

أحمد:٣٣٨٣ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا وَعُذِّبَ وَلَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ أَوْ قَالَ بَيْنَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ وَعُذِّبَ وَلَنْ يَعْقِدَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَمَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى حَدِيثِ قَوْمٍ يَكْرَهُونَهُ صُبَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ الْآنُكُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي الرَّصَاصَ

If anyone makes a representation of anything, Allah will punish him on the Day of Resurrection for it until he breathes into it, but he will be unable to do so. If anyone pretends to have had a dream which he did not see, he will be ordered to tie a knot in a grain of barley. If anyone listens to other people’s talk when they try to avoid him, lead will be poured into his ears on the Day of Resurrection.

أبو داود:٥٠٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً عَذَّبَهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخٍ وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ شَعِيرَةً وَمَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى حَدِيثِ قَوْمٍ يَفِرُّونَ بِهِ مِنْهُ صُبَّ فِي أُذُنِهِ الآنُكُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever makes a picture will be punished on the Day of Resurrection and will be told to breathe life into it, but he will not be able to do so. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً عُذِّبَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخٍ وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ عُذِّبَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يَعْقِدَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ وَلَيْسَ عَاقِدًا وَمَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى حَدِيثِ قَوْمٍ يَفِرُّونَ بِهِ مِنْهُ صُبَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَذَابٌ

ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ عُقُوبَةِ مَا اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى حَدِيثِ قَوْمٍ يَكْرَهُونَ مِنْهُ ذَلِكَ

ibnhibban:5685 – Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm b. Ismāʿīl Bibust > Bishr b. Hilāl al-Ṣawwāf > ʿAbd al-Wārith > Ayyūb > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophetﷺ he said, "Whoever makes a picture or image will be punished until he breathes the spirit into it, and it will never have a spirit in it. And whoever has a false dream will be ordered to tie it between two hairs and will be punished for that. And whoever listens to a people while they dislike him, let him pour molten lead into his ears on the Day of Resurrection."

ابن حبّان:٥٦٨٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بِبُسْتَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ الصَّوَّافُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً فَإِنَّهُ يُعَذَّبُ حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخٍ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ حُلْمًا كَاذِبًا كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ بَيْنَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ وَيُعَذَّبُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ وَمَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ وَهُمْ لَهُ كَارِهُونَ صُبَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ الْآنُكُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

ذِكْرُ صَبِّ الْآنُكِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي آذَانِ الْمُسْتَمِعِينَ إِلَى حَدِيثِ أَقْوَامٍ يَكْرَهُونَ ذَلِكَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً عَذَّبَهُ اللَّهُ حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخٍ وَمَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى حَدِيثِ قَوْمٍ يَفِرُّونَ مِنْهُ صُبَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ الْآنُكُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ بَيْنَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ وَلَيْسَ بِفَاعِلٍ»
