[Machine] We used to say behind the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , when we greeted him with Salam, "Peace be upon you, peace be upon you." One of us would signal with his hand from his right side and from his left side. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "What is the matter with those who throw their hands in prayer as if they were the tails of galloping horses? Is it not enough for one of you to place his hand on his thigh, then say the Salam from his right and his left?"
