The Prophet ﷺ ate of the meat of a shoulder (by cutting the meat with his teeth), and then got up and offered the prayer without performing the ablution anew.

تَعَرَّقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Prophet ﷺ ate a little meat from a (goat's) shoulder. He then offered prayer and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ انْتَهَشَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

"The Messenger of Allah would fall asleep until he was breathing deeply, then he would get up and offer the prayer, and he did not perform ablution." (Hasan) Tanafisi said: "Wakiʿ said: 'She meant while he was prostrating (he would sleep).'"

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنَامُ حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي وَلاَ يَتَوَضَّأُ قَالَ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ تَعْنِي وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ

The Messenger of Allah slept until he was breathing deeply, then he got up and prayed.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَامَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate a shoulder, then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَعَرَّقَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] It is mentioned that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell asleep until a slight snoring sound was heard from him. He then woke up, performed ablution, and prayed. Ikrimah said, "The Prophet ﷺ was guarded."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَامَ حَتَّى سُمِعَ لَهُ غَطِيطٌ فَقَامَفَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ فَقَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَحْفُوظًا

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ wiped his shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ انْتَهَسَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَعَرَّقَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] That the Prophet, may peace be upon him, shook off the dust from his shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ انْتَهَسَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to sleep while laying down until he woke up, then he would stand up and pray without performing ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَنَامُ مُسْتَلْقِيًا حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي وَلَا يَتَوَضَّأُ

[AI] I saw the Prophet of Allah ﷺ sleeping until he snored, then he woke up and prayed without performing ablution.

رَأَيْتُ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ نَامَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to sleep until he snores, then he would get up and offer prayer without performing ablution.

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَنَامُ حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي وَلَا يَتَوَضَّأُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar from Abdullah Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder of lamb and then prayed without doing wudu.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a piece of cooked mutton from the shoulder region and prayed without repeating ablution. (Using translation from Bukhārī 207)

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ slept until he snored, then he said, "Perform ablution upon those who sleep."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَامَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ ثُمَّ قَالَ «الْوُضُوءُ عَلَى مَنِ اضْطَجَعَ»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ slept while he was in prostration until he woke up, prayed, and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَامَ وَهُوَ سَاجِدٌ حَتَّى غَطَّ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ slept until his snoring was heard, then he got up and prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَامَ حَتَّى سُمِعَ غَطِيطُهُ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ passed wind from his shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «انْتَهَشَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَعَرَّقَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ , "He suffered an injury on his shoulder, then he performed the prayer without ablution."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «تَعَرَّضَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] He "ate a shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution" refers to the Prophet ﷺ.

أَنَّهُ «أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ» تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ slept until he emitted a snore, then he got up and prayed without performing ablution. Ikrimah said: "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ was protected."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَامَ حَتَّى سُمِعَ لَهُ غَطِيطٌ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يتَوَضَّأْ قَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ مَحْفُوظًا

"كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَنَامُ حَتَّى يَنْفُخَ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيُصَلِّي وَلَا يَتَوَضَّأَ".
