[Machine] I said, O Messenger of Allah, indeed we are a people who question/charade our wealth. He said, The man would question/charade in a pandemic or a (flood) fissure to seek reconciliation between his people, so when it reaches or caused him distress, he would seek assistance.

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا قَوْمٌ نَتَسَاءَلُ أَمْوَالَنَا قَالَ يَتَسَاءَلُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْجَائِحَةِ أَوِ الْفَتْقِ لِيُصْلِحَ بِهِ بَيْنَ قَوْمِهِ فَإِذَا بَلَغَ أَوْ كَرَبَ اسْتَعَفَّ

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah! We ask each other about our possessions." He said, "Yes, a person asks about the trials between him and his people. If he reaches or is about to face hardship, he should hold back."

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَتَسَاءَلُ أَمْوَالَنَا بَيْنَنَا فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ يَسْأَلُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْفِتَنِ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِهِ فَإِذَا بَلَغَ أَوْ كَرَبَ أَمْسَكَ»

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are a people who divide our wealth among ourselves." He said, "Let one of you ask about the need and the trials in order to reconcile between his people. But when he reaches a limit or a hardship, let him seek assistance."

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا قَوْمٌ نَتَسَاءَلُ أَمْوَالَنَا بَيْنَنَا فَقَالَ «لِيَسْأَلْ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْحَاجَةِ وَالْفِتَنِ لِيُصْلِحَ بَيْنَ قَوْمِهِ فَإِذَا بَلَغَ أَوْ كَرَبَ اسْتَعَفَّ»

"لِيَسْأَلْ أَحَدُكُمْ في الحَاجَةِ وَالْعِتْقِ لِيُصلح بَينَ قَوْمِه فَإِذَا بَلَغَ أَوْ كَبِر اسْتَعَفَّ".

"عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ: إِنَّا نُسْأَلُ فِى أَمْوَالِنَا، قَالَ: وَيسْأَلُ الرَّجُلُ الحَاجَة أَو لِفَتْقٍ ليُصْلِحَ بِهِ بِيْنَ قَوْمِهِ، فَإِذَا بَلَغَ أَوْ كَربَ اسْتَعَفَّ".
