Warning against intending not to pay dowry or debt

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Any man who assigns a woman a dowry while Allah knows that he does not intend to pay it to her, thus deceiving her by Allah and making her private part lawful for himself unlawfully, will meet Allah on the day he meets Him as an adulterer. And any man who takes a debt from another man while Allah knows that he does not intend to repay it to him, thus deceiving him by Allah and making his wealth lawful for himself unlawfully, will meet Allah ﷻ on the day he meets Him as a thief."

أحمد:١٨٩٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنَ النَّمِرِ بْنِ قَاسِطٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ صُهَيْبَ بْنَ سِنَانٍ يُحَدِّثُ، قَالَ:

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَصْدَقَ امْرَأَةً صَدَاقًا، وَاللهُ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَا يُرِيدُ أَدَاءَهُ إِلَيْهَا، فَغَرَّهَا بِاللهِ، وَاسْتَحَلَّ فَرْجَهَا بِالْبَاطِلِ، لَقِيَ اللهَ يَوْمَ يَلْقَاهُ وَهُوَ زَانٍ. وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ ادَّانَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ دَيْنًا، وَاللهُ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَا يُرِيدُ أَدَاءَهُ إِلَيْهِ، فَغَرَّهُ بِاللهِ، وَاسْتَحَلَّ مَالَهُ بِالْبَاطِلِ، لَقِيَ اللهَ ﷻ يَوْمَ يَلْقَاهُ وَهُوَ سَارِقٌ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever is true to a woman with regards to her rights, and Allah knows that he does not intend to fulfill them, then he has deceived her in the sight of Allah and has unlawfully had intercourse with her, he will meet Allah on the Day of Resurrection while being stained with sin."

البيهقي:١٤٣٩٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ أنبأ عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ النَّمِرِ بْنِ قَاسِطٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ صُهَيْبَ بْنَ سِنَانٍ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ

"أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أصْدَقَ امْرَأةً صَدَاقًا واللهُ ﷻ يَعْلَمُ منْهُ أنَّهُ لَا يُرِيدُ أدَاءَهُ إِلَيهَا فَغَرَّهَا باللهِ واسْتَحَلَّ فَرْجَهَا بالباطِل لَقِيَ اللهَ يَوْمَ يَلقَاهُ وَهُوَ زَان، وَأَيُّمَا رَجُل ادَّانَ

مِنْ رَجُلٍ دَينًا، وَاللهُ يَعْلَمُ مِنْهُ أنَّهُ لَا يُرِيدُ أداءَهُ فَغَرةُ بالئهِ واسْتَحَل مَالهُ بالبَاطِل لَقِيَ اللهَ يَوْمَ القِيامَةِ وَهُوَ سَارِق".
