عَنْ هِشَامٍ

A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Samura b. Jundub.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ هَذَا

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ نَحْوَهُ

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked."

إِذَا أَصْبَحَ ابْنُ آدَمَ فَإِنَّ الأَعْضَاءَ كُلَّهَا تُكَفِّرُ اللِّسَانَ فَتَقُولُ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ فِينَا فَإِنَّمَا نَحْنُ بِكَ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَمْتَ اسْتَقَمْنَا وَإِنِ اعْوَجَجْتَ اعْوَجَجْنَا

سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ يُحَدِّثُ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] I was with Ibn Abbas, then he mentioned the hadith.

كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] About Ma'mar, so he mentioned him.

عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ فَذَكَرَهُ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ نَحْوَهُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ مُرْسَلًا

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2407)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَاهُ

[AI] About his father, so he mentioned him.

عَنِ أَبِيهِ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with us and mentioned him.

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] From Asim regarding it.

عَنْ عَاصِمٍ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] "About the Prophet, ﷺ , he mentioned along with us."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2407)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

عَن حَبيب غَيْرَ هَذَا الحديث وذكرنا حديث عَمْرو عَن طاووس لِئَلا يَقُولَ قَائِلٌ إِنَّهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَبَيْنَا أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ولاَ نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَن مُجاهد عَن طاوُوس عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إلاَّ وَكِيعٌ
