That while he was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ a man from the Ansar came and said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! We get slave girls from the war captives and we love property; what do you think about coitus interruptus?" Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you do that? It is better for you not to do it, for there is no soul which Allah has ordained to come into existence but will be created."

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنِ الأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نُصِيبُ سَبْيًا وَنُحِبُّ الْمَالَ كَيْفَ تَرَى فِي الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَوَإِنَّكُمْ تَفْعَلُونَ ذَلِكَ لاَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لاَ تَفْعَلُوا فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَتْ نَسَمَةٌ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ إِلاَّ هِيَ كَائِنَةٌ

that while he was sitting with Messenger of Allah ﷺ he said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! We get female captives as our share of booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interrupt us?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence.

أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ ؓ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نُصِيبُ سَبْيًا فَنُحِبُّ الأَثْمَانَ فَكَيْفَ تَرَى فِي الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ أَوَإِنَّكُمْ تَفْعَلُونَ ذَلِكَ لاَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لاَ تَفْعَلُوا ذَلِكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ نَسَمَةٌ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ إِلاَّ هِيَ خَارِجَةٌ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was approached by a group of the Banu Sulaym tribe and they said, "O Messenger of Allah, we participate in battles and we separate [the captives] from them." He said, "Indeed, you do so." They said, "Yes." He said, "There is no soul that Allah intends to bring forth from the loins of a man except that it is brought forth. If He wills, and if He does not will, then it is not upon you to do so."

أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَفَرٌ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نُصِيبُ سَبَايَا وَإِنَّا نَعْزِلُ عَنْهُنَّ قَالَ «وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَفْعَلُونَ» قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ نَسَمَةٍ أَرَادَ اللهُ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ مِنْ صُلْبِ رَجُلٍ إِلَّا وَهِي خَارِجَةٌ إِنْ شَاءَ وَإِنْ أَبَى فَلَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لَا تَفْعَلُوا»

"أَوَ إِنَّكُمْ تفعلون ذلك؟ لَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ لا تَفْعَلُوا ذَلِكَ؛ فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَت نَسَمَةٌ، كَتَبَ اللَّهُ أَن تَخْرُج إِلَّا وهى خَارجةٌ ".
