[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The call to prayer (adhan) by Bilal should not prevent you from having the pre-dawn meal (suhur), nor should the elongated dawn (fajr) prevent you, but rather the elongated dawn (fajr) is in the horizon." And the exact wording is from Hajjaj ibn Nusayr.  

الطبراني:٦٩٨٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ نُصَيْرٍ وَأَبُو عُمَرَ الضَّرِيرُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْقَطِرَانِيُّ ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزِّيَادِيُّ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو هِلَالٍ عَنْ سَوَادَةَ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَمْنَعْكُمْ مِنَ السُّحُورِ أَذَانُ بِلَالٍ وَلَا الصُّبْحُ الْمُسْتَطِيلُ وَلَكِنِ الصُّبْحُ الْمُسْتَطِيلُ فِي الْأُفُقِ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَجَّاجِ بْنِ نُصَيْرٍ

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يَمْنَعَنَّكُمْ مِنْ سُحُورِكُمْ أَذَانُ بِلاَلٍ وَلاَ الْفَجْرُ الْمُسْتَطِيلُ وَلَكِنِ الْفَجْرُ الْمُسْتَطِيرُ فِي الأُفُقِ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ
