[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Gabriel ﷺ told me that Islam should mourn the death of 'Umar."  

الطبراني:٦١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمَكِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ كَاتِبُ مَالِكٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ لِيَبْكِ الْإِسْلَامُ عَلَى مَوْتِ عُمَرَ ؓ

أحمد:٢٤٨١٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَامِرًا يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلَامَ فَقَالَتْ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ

Gabriel gives you a greeting. Replying she said: Upon him be peace and grace of Allah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5232)   

أحمد:٢٤٢٨١ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

[Machine] To me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is Jibril, he is conveying peace upon you." So I responded, "And peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon him."  

الطبراني:١٩٤٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ
