"I saw Ibn ʿUmar praying while taking his camel as a Sutra in front of him and he said, "I saw the Prophet doing the same."

وَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ

I saw ‘ Uthman b. ‘ Affan (perform ablution). He washed his forearms three times and washed his head thrice. He then said : I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing like that. Abu Dawud said: Another version says: "He performed ablution three times only."

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَعَلَ هَذَا

[AI] I heard Abu Huraira saying, "I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying in his sandals."

سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي نَعْلَيْهِ

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in a single garment with its ends crossing each other. 'Isa b. Hammad added:" placing on his shoulders". (Using translation from Muslim 517d)

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ

[AI] I saw my father one day performing ablution (wudu'), and he wiped over the shoes. So I said to him, "Do you wipe over them?" He said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing it."

رَأَيْتُ أَبِي يَوْمًا تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ على النَّعْلَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَتَمْسَحُ عَلَيْهِمَا؟ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in his sandals.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي نَعْلَيْهِ

"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in his sandals.

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي نَعْلَيْهِ.

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in a pair of patched sandals.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْنِ مَخْصُوفَيْنِ.

رَأَيْتُ أَبِي تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ فَأَنْكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ أَتَمْسَحُ عَلَى النَّعْلَيْنِ؟ فَقَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَمْسَحُ عَلَيْهِمَا»

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ prayed in his sandals."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي نَعْلَيْهِ»

[AI] "I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying in his sandals."

«رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ»

[AI] Jarir was present and he performed ablution and wiped over his socks. He was asked about it and he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing it."

أَنَّ جَرِيرًا «بَالَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ» فَقِيلَ لَهُ فَقَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ»

[AI] Jarir said, "He (the Prophet Muhammad) entered (the mosque), performed ablution, then wiped over his socks." And he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing it."

أَنَّ جَرِيرًا «بَالَ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ» وَقَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ»

[AI] Baalah Jarirun fatawadda wa masaha 'ala khuffayh. Wa qala "Ra'aitu Rasulullahi sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam yaf'aluhu."

«بَالَ جَرِيرٌ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ» وَقَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ»

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ»

[AI] "I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying wearing a pair of worn-out sandals."

«رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْنِ مَخْصُوفَتَيْنِ»

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying wearing two leather sandals."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْنِ مَخْصُوفَتَيْنِ»

[AI] Yes, I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , praying and prostrating.

نَعَمْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ وَيَسْجُدُ

" رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ صَلَّى فِى نَعْلَيْهِ".
