[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of the conquest of Mecca, "Everyone has been granted safety except for these four: Ibn Khatal, Maqis bin Subaba al-Makhzumi, Abdullah bin Abi Sarh, and Ibn Nukhayz." As for Ibn Khatal, Az-Zubayr bin al-Awwam killed him. As for Abdullah bin Saad bin Abi Sarh, Uthman granted him safety, and he accepted Islam. They were foster brothers, so he was spared from being killed. Maqis bin Subaba was killed by his cousin, who had been named Laha, and Ali killed Ibn Nukhayz. Maqis also had two captive women, one of whom was killed, while the other was freed and accepted Islam. Sa'id bin Yarbua al-Makhzumi, the grandfather of Abu Jad, embraced Islam. Al-Qabbani narrated this, and in a hadith by Anas bin Malik, it is mentioned that Umm Sara, a slave woman of the Quraysh, ordered his killing. In another narration by Ibn Ishaq in Al-Maghazi, it is mentioned that Sara was a slave woman of some of the Bani Abd al-Muttalib, and she was one of those who harmed him in Mecca.
