I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: The official who collects sadaqah (zakat) in a just manner is like him who fights in Allah's path till he returns home. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2936)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْعَامِلُ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ بِالْحَقِّ كَالْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ»
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: The official who collects sadaqah (zakat) in a just manner is like him who fights in Allah's path till he returns home.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْعَامِلُ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ بِالْحَقِّ كَالْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ
"I herd the Messenger of Allah saying: 'The one who works in collecting charity in truth is like the one who fights in the cause of Allah until he returns.'"
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْعَامِلُ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ بِالْحَقِّ كَالْغَازِي فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ
Rafi bin Khadij said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The person who is appointed to collect the Sadaqah - who does so with sincerity and fairness is like one who foes out to fight for the sake of Allah, until he returns to the house.' ”

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ : "The person who acts honestly in giving charity is like a warrior who fights in the cause of Allah."
