[Machine] We had breakfast with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah was with us. Abu Ubaydah asked, "O Messenger of Allah, is anyone better than us who embraced Islam with you?" He replied, "Yes, there will be a group of people who will believe in me but will not see me."

الطبراني:٣٥٣٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ الْحَوْطِيُّ وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ الْحَوْطِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جُمُعَةَ قَالَ

تَغَدَّيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَعَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَحَدٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَّا أَسْلَمْنَا مَعَكَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ قَوْمٌ يَكُونُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِي وَلَمْ يَرَوْنِي»

[Machine] Abu Jum'ah narrated to me, she said: "We had breakfast with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and Abu 'Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah was with us. He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, is anyone better than us? [Machine] I said to Abu Jum'a, a man from the companions, "Tell us a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah." He said, "Yes, I will tell you a good hadith. We had lunch with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu 'Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah was with us. Abu 'Ubaydah said, 'O Messenger of Allah, is anyone better than us? We embraced Islam with you and fought alongside you.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Yes, there will be a people who will believe in me without seeing me, after you.'"

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جُمُعَةَ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ نَعَمْ أُحَدِّثُكُمْ حَدِيثًا جَيِّدًا تَغَدَّيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَعَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَحَدٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَّا أَسْلَمْنَا مَعَكَ وَجَاهَدْنَا مَعَكَ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَوْمٌ يَكُونُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِي وَلَمْ يَرَوْنِي

We believed in you and fought alongside you.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, 'Yes, there will be people who come after you, who believe in me even though they have not seen me.'"

الحاكم:٦٩٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الطَّائِيُّ بِحِمْصَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ثَنَا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي جُمُعَةَ قَالَ

تَغَدَّيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَمَعَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ قَالَ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَحَدٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَّا أَسْلَمْنَا مَعَكَ وَجَاهَدْنَا مَعَكَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ قَوْمٌ يَكُونُونَ بَعْدَكُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِي وَلَمْ يَرَوْنِي»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح

[Machine] We were told a story that you heard from the Messenger of Allah, may ﷺ , who said, "Yes, I will tell you a good story. We were having lunch with the Messenger of Allah, may ﷺ , and Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah was with us. Abu Ubaydah said, 'O Messenger of Allah, is anyone better than us if we believed in you and fought with you?' He (the Prophet) said, 'A people will come after you who will believe in me without seeing me.'"

حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ أُحَدِّثُكُمْ حَدِيثًا جَيِّدًا تَغَدَّيْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَعَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَحَدٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَّا آمَنَّا بِكَ وَجَاهَدْنَا مَعَكَ؟ قَالَ «قَوْمٌ يَجِيئُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِي وَلَمْ يَرَوْنِي»

[Machine] We participated in the battle with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah was with us. He said, "Is there anyone better than us, O Messenger of Allah? We have embraced Islam, migrated, and fought alongside you." He ﷺ said, "Yes, there will be people after me who will believe in me without seeing me."

الطبراني:٣٥٣٩ – حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جُمُعَةَ قَالَ

غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَمَعَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ فَقَالَ مَا أَحَدٌ خَيْرًا مِنَّا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَسْلَمْنَا وهَاجَرْنَا وَجَاهَدْنَا مَعَكَ؟ فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ قَوْمٌ يَكُونُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِي آمَنُوا بِي وَلَمْ يَرَوْنِي»
