[Machine] I heard Ubaidullah ibn Abdullah ibn Utbah saying, Umar went out on the day of Eid and asked Abu Waqid al-Laithi, "With what did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the prayer on the day of Eid?" He replied, "With Qaaf.  

الطبراني:٣٣٠٥حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ وَابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ يَقُولُ خَرَجَ عُمَرُ ؓ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ فَسَأَلَ أَبَا وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيَّ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ؟ قَالَ «بِ ق وَاقْتَرَبَتْ»

"Umar, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with him, went out on the day of 'Eid and asked Abu Waqid Al-Laithi: 'What did the Prophet ﷺ recite on this day?' He said: 'Qaf' and '(The Hour) has drawn near.'"

“Umar went out on the day of ‘Eid and sent word to Abu Waqid Al-Laithi asking what the Prophet ﷺ used to recite on this day. He said: ‘Qaf [Qaf (50)] and ‘Iqtarabat’.” [Al-Qamar (54)]
