[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The one who transgresses in giving charity is like the one who prevents it."

الطبراني:٢٢٧٥ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي خَيْرَةَ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُعْتَدِي فِي الصَّدَقَةِ كَمَانِعِهَا»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "˹Doing˺ all that is good is a charity."

البخاري:٦٠٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؓ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ»

abudawud:1585 – Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > al-Layth > Yazīd b. Abū Ḥabīb > Saʿd b. Sinān > Anas b. Mālik

The Prophet ﷺ said: He who collects more sadaqah than is due is like him who refuses to pay it.

أبو داود:١٥٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْمُعْتَدِي فِي الصَّدَقَةِ كَمَانِعِهَا

ibnmajah:1808 – ʿĪsá b. Ḥammād al-Miṣrī > al-Layth b. Saʿd > Yazīd b. Abū Ḥabīb > Saʿd b. Sinān > Anas b. Mālik

the Messenger of Allah said: “The one who is unjust in Sadaqah is like the one who withholds it.”

ابن ماجة:١٨٠٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمُعْتَدِي فِي الصَّدَقَةِ كَمَانِعِهَا
