The Prophet ﷺ said, "If any Muslim plants any plant and a human being or an animal eats of it, he will be rewarded as if he had given that much in charity."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ غَرَسَ غَرْسًا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ إِلاَّ كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً

that the Prophet ﷺ entered the orchard belonging to Umm Mubashshir, an Ansari woman, and asked her, "Who has planted these trees of dates? A Muslim or a non-Muslim?" She said: A Muslim, of course. He then said: "Never a Muslim plants, or cultivates a land, and it out of that men eat, or the animals eat, or anything else eats, but that becomes charity on his (planter's) behalf."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّةِ فِي نَخْلٍ لَهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا النَّخْلَ؟ أَمُسْلِمٌ أَمْ كَافِرٌ؟» فَقَالَتْ: بَلْ مُسْلِمٌ۔ فَقَالَ: «لاَ يَغْرِسُ مُسْلِمٌ غَرْسًا وَلاَ يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا فَيَأْكُلَ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ وَلاَ دَابَّةٌ وَلاَ شَىْءٌ إِلاَّ كَانَتْ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ»

the Prophet ﷺ visited the orchard of Umm Mabad and said: "Umm Ma'bad. he who has planted this tree? is he a Muslim or a non-Muslim?" She said: Of course, he is a Muslim. He said: "No Muslim who plants (trees) and from their fruits the human beings or the beasts or birds eat, but that would be taken as an act of charity on the Day of Resurrection."

دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى أُمِّ مَعْبَدٍ حَائِطًا فَقَالَ: «يَا أُمَّ مَعْبَدٍ، مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا النَّخْلَ؟ أَمُسْلِمٌ أَمْ كَافِرٌ؟» فَقَالَتْ: بَلْ مُسْلِمٌ۔ قَالَ: «فَلاَ يَغْرِسُ الْمُسْلِمُ غَرْسًا فَيَأْكُلَ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ وَلاَ دَابَّةٌ وَلاَ طَيْرٌ إِلاَّ كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Anas reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying Never does a Muslim plant trees or cultivate land and birds or a man or a beast eat out of them but that is a charity on his behalf.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا أَوْ يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ طَيْرٌ أَوْ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ بَهِيمَةٌ إِلاَّ كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ

Who planted this palm-a Muslim or an unbelievers The rest of the hadith is the same.

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ نَخْلاً لأُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ امْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا النَّخْلَ أَمُسْلِمٌ أَمْ كَافِرٌ قَالُوا مُسْلِمٌ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمْ

that the Prophet ﷺ said: "No Muslim plants a plant or sows a crop, then a person, or a bird, or an animal eats from it, except that it will be charity for him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا أَوْ يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ طَيْرٌ أَوْ بَهِيمَةٌ إِلاَّ كَانَتْ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ وَجَابِرٍ وَأُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad entered upon me in a garden and said, "O Um Mubashir, is the one who planted this Muslim or non-Muslim?" I replied, "Muslim." He said, "There is no Muslim who plants something and then a human, animal, or bird eats from it, except that it is considered a charity for him."

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي حَائِطٍ لِي فَقَالَ «يَا أُمَّ مُبَشِّرٍ أَمُسْلِمٌ غَرَسَ هَذَا أَمْ كَافِرٌ؟» قُلْتُ مُسْلِمٌ فَقَالَ «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ أَوْ طَيْرٌ إِلَّا كَانَتْ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ entered a date palm grove belonging to Umm Mubashir, a woman from the Ansar. He asked, "Who planted this tree? Is it a Muslim or a non-Muslim?" They replied, "It was planted by a Muslim." He said, "A Muslim should not plant a tree from which a human, animal, or bird eats without it being counted as a charity for him."

[AI] "On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , there is no Muslim who plants a tree or sows a seed and then a living creature or a human being eats from it, except that it will be a charity for him."

عَنِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا أَوْ يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا فَيَأْكُلَ مِنْهُ دَابَّةٌ أَوْ إِنْسَانٌ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever plants a seed or sows a crop, and a human or bird or wild animal or domestic animal eats from it, it will be considered as charity for him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ غَرَسَ غَرْسًا أَوْ زَرَعَ زَرْعًا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ طَيْرٌ أَوْ سَبُعٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever plants a plant or sows a seed and then a human being, or an animal, or a bird eats from it, it will be considered as charity for him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ غَرَسَ غَرْسًا أَوْ زَرَعَ زَرْعًا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ سَبُعٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ أَوْ طَيْرٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ

Who has planted these trees of dates-a Muslim or a non-Musim? She said: A Muslim, of course, whereupon he said: Never a Muslim plants, or cultivates a land, and it out of that men eat, or the animals eat, or anything else eats, but that becomes charity on his (planter's) behalf. عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ فِي نَخْلٍ لَهَا فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا النَّخْلَ؟ أَمُسْلِمٌ أُمْ كَافِرٌ»؟ فَقَالَتْ بَلْ مُسْلِمٌ فَقَالَ ﷺ «لَا يَغْرِسُ الْمُسْلِمُ غَرْسًا وَلَا يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ وَلَا دَابَّةٌ وَلَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا كَانَتْ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا أَوْ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ طَيْرٌ أَوْ بَهِيمَةٌ إلاَّ كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ entered upon a woman in a date palm grove and said, "Who planted this palm tree, is he a Muslim or a non-Muslim?" She replied, "Indeed, he is a Muslim." He said, "There is no Muslim who plants a tree or sows seeds and then a beast, bird, or human being eats from it except that it will be charity for him."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَى أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ فِي نَخْلٍ فَقَالَ «مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا النَّخْلَ أَمُسْلِمٌ أَوْ كَافِرٌ؟» قَالَتْ بَلْ مُسْلِمٌ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا أَوْ يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ دَابَّةٌ أَوْ طَائِرٌ أَوْ إِنْسَانٌ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me while I was in a date palm tree. He said, "Is the person who planted this Muslim or a disbeliever?" I replied, "No, he is a Muslim." He said, "Any Muslim who plants a tree or sows a seed and then a bird, or a beast, or a human being eats from it, it is regarded as a charity."

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا فِي نَخْلٍ فَقَالَ «مُسْلِمٌ غَرَسَ هَذَا أَوْ كَافِرٌ؟» قُلْتُ لَا بَلْ مُسْلِمٌ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا أَوْ يَزْرَعُ زًرْعًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ طَائِرٌ أَوْ سَبُعٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ أَوْ إِنْسَانٌ إِلَّا كَانَتْ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered upon me while I was by a palm tree, so he said, "Who planted this palm tree? Is he a Muslim or a disbeliever?" I said, "No, he is a Muslim." So he said, "There is no Muslim who plants a sapling, whereupon a bird, a human, a beast, or an animal eats from it except that it will be a charity for him."

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا فِي نَخْلٍ لِي فَقَالَ «مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا النَّخْلَ أَمُسْلِمٌ أَمْ كَافِرٌ؟» قُلْتُ لَا بَلْ مُسْلِمٌ فَقَالَ «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ طَائِرُ أَوْ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ سَبُعٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me while I was in a date palm tree and asked me, "Is this yours?" I replied, "Yes." He asked, "Was it planted by a Muslim or a non-Muslim?" I said, "A Muslim." He said, "No Muslim plants or cultivates something, and then a bird, human, wolf, or anything else eats from it, except that it will be considered as charity for him."

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا فِي نَخْلٍ لِي فَقَالَ أَلَكِ هَذَا؟ قُلْتُ نَعَم قَالَ «مَنْ غَرَسَهُ أَمْسُلِمٌ أَمْ كَافِرُ؟» قُلْتُ مُسْلِمٌ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا أًَوْ يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ طَائِرٌ أَوْ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ سَبُعٌ أَوْ شَيْءٌ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ entered a date palm plantation belonging to Umm Mubashir, a woman from the Ansar. He then asked, "Who planted this tree, a Muslim or a non-Muslim?" They replied, "A Muslim." He said, "A Muslim should not plant something from which a human, bird, or animal eats without it being counted as charity for them."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ نَخْلًا لِأُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ امْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا مُسْلِمٌ أَوْ كَافِرٌ؟ فَقَالُوا مُسْلِمٌ فَقَالَ لَا يَغْرِسُ مُسْلِمٌ غَرْسًا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ طَيْرٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ إِلَّا كَانَتْ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ

Who has planted these trees of dates-a Muslim or a non-Musim? "مَا مِن مُسْلِم يَزْرعُ زَرْعًا، أَوْ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا فَيَأكُلُ مِنْه طيرٌ أَوْ إِنسَان، أَوْ بَهيمة، أَوْ سَبع، أَوْ دَابَّة إِلَّا كَان لَه بِه صَدَقَة".

"مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا وَلا حَرْثًا فَيَأكُلُ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ، وَلا بهِيمَةٌ، وَلا طيرٌ، وَلا شَيْءٌ، إِلا كانَ لهُ أَجْرُهُ".

"مَنْ غَرَسَ غَرْسًا، لَمْ يَأكلْ مِنْهُ آدَمي وَلا خَلقٌ مِنْ خَلقِ الله إِلا كانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً".
