[Machine] About his mother Salma bint Qais, who was one of the aunts of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , she had prayed with him in both Qiblas. She was one of the women of the Banu Adi ibn Al-Najjar. She said, "I came to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and pledged allegiance to him in the company of some Ansari women. When he stipulated that we should not associate anything with Allah, not steal, not commit adultery, not kill our children, not fabricate falsehood impudently - which we had contrived between our hands and feet - and that we must not disobey him in a good deed, he said, 'And do not cheat your husbands.' I said, 'So we pledged allegiance to him and then we turned away. I said to one of them, 'Go back and ask the Messenger of Allah what can we take from our husbands' property?' So she asked him, and he said, 'Take what is rightfully yours and leave what belongs to others.'"

[Machine] Narrated by Salma bint Qais, who was one of the aunts of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , she prayed with him in both the Qiblas. She was one of the women of Banu 'Adi ibn al-Najjar. Salma said, "I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and pledged allegiance to him on behalf of some women from the Ansar. When he stipulated that we should not associate anything with Allah, nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill our children, nor bring forth any falsehood fabrications which we fabricate between our hands and feet, nor disobey him in ma'ruf (good actions)", Salma said: "He also said, 'Do not deceive your husbands.'"

Then we gave him our pledge of allegiance and left. I said to one of them (the women of our group): 'Go back and ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what cheating our husbands means.' She asked him and he replied, 'It means that you should take your husband's wealth and give it to someone else (as gifts).' "
