[Machine] I said to Umar ibn al-Khattab, "If only I had witnessed the Prophet ﷺ when revelation descended upon him." Umar said, "We were once traveling with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he stopped to rest at a certain place. An Arab man wearing a yellow cloak approached him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have entered into a state of ihram for Umrah, and the people are mocking me. What should I do?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent. Then, Allah revealed His Words and pointed to me with his hand. I lowered my head, and when I looked up, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with red eyes and forehead. He was angry for my sake and said, 'Where is the person who asked about al-Umrah?' I replied, 'It is me, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Remove your cloak and perform what you have not done during Hajj in your Umrah.'"

ahmad:17967Ibn Numayr > ʿAbd al-Malik > ʿAṭāʾ > Yaʿlá b. Umayyah

[Machine] As the Prophet ﷺ was on a journey, wearing a protective garment from the sun, a man approached him wearing a cloak with a cover of saffron, and he said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have made an oath of 'Umrah (pilgrimage), and people are mocking me. What should I do?" The Prophet ﷺ remained silent and did not answer him. While he was like that, 'Umar gestured to me with his hand, so I entered with him under the protective garment. Then, I saw that the Prophet ﷺ had a red face and his cheeks were bright for a moment, then it went away from him. He sat down and said, "Where is the one who asked about 'Umrah (pilgrimage)?" The man went up to him and he said, "Take off this cloak from you, and what you used to do in your Hajj (pilgrimage) when you made an oath, do it in your 'Umrah (pilgrimage)."

[Machine] To see the Prophet ﷺ when the Quran was revealed to him, while we were with him on a journey, a man came to him wearing a cloak with saffron-colored linings. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have entered into the state of ihram for 'Umrah, and the people are mocking me." The Prophet ﷺ remained silent and revelation was sent down to him. He mentioned the incident and then said, "Where is the one who asked about 'Umrah?" The man stood up and said, "Take off this cloak from yourself and refrain from wearing it when you enter into the state of ihram. Do in 'Umrah what you usually do in Hajj." Qasurah bin Isnaadah has narrated this hadith, but he did not mention Safwan ibn Ya'la in it.
