[Machine] An Arab man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while we were with him. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have entered into Ihram, and he (pointing to someone) is acting in a hypocritical manner and wearing a cloak made of wool and an 'Imamah (turban)." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Remove your 'Imamah and garment, and wash off this yellowness from you. And do what you would have done in your Hajj for your 'Umrah."  

الطبراني:١٨٩٤٩ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الزُّهْرِيُّ ثَنَا عَمِّي ثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَهْلَلْتُ وَهُو مُتَخَلِّقٌ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ مِنْ صُوفٍ وَعِمَامَةٌٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ انْزَعْ عِمَامَتَكَ وَقَمِيصَكَ وَاغْسِلْ هَذِهِ الصُّفْرَةَ عَنْكَ وَمَا كُنْتَ صَانِعًا فِي حَجِّكَ فَاصْنَعْهُ فِي عُمْرَتِكَ

"A man came to the Messenger of Allah when he was in Al-Jirranah wearing a Jubnah, and having applied Khauq to his beard and head. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I have entered Ihram for 'Umrah and I am as you see.' He said: 'Take off the Jubbah and wash off the perfume, and whatever you would do for Hajj, do it for 'Umrah.'''  

النسائي:٢٧١٠ – أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَيْسَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَجُلٌ وَهُوَ بِالْجِعِرَّانَةِ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ وَهُوَ مُصَفِّرٌ لِحْيَتَهُ وَرَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَحْرَمْتُ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَأَنَا كَمَا تَرَى فَقَالَ انْزِعْ عَنْكَ الْجُبَّةَ وَاغْسِلْ عَنْكَ الصُّفْرَةَ وَمَا كُنْتَ صَانِعًا فِي حَجَّتِكَ فَاصْنَعْهُ فِي عُمْرَتِكَ  

malik:20-20 – Mālik > Ḥumayd b. Qays > ʿAṭāʾ b. Abū Rabāḥ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Humayd ibn Qays from Ata ibn Rabah that a bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he was at Hunayn, and he was wearing a shirt with traces of yellow on it. He said, "Messenger of Allah, I have entered ihram for umra. What should I do?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Take off your shirt and wash off this yellowness and do in umra as you would do on hajj."  

مالك:٢٠-٢٠ – وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ

أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِحُنَيْنٍ وَعَلَى الأَعْرَابِيِّ قَمِيصٌ وَبِهِ أَثَرُ صُفْرَةٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَهْلَلْتُ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَكَيْفَ تَأْمُرُنِي أَنْ أَصْنَعَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ انْزِعْ قَمِيصَكَ وَاغْسِلْ هَذِهِ الصُّفْرَةَ عَنْكَ وَافْعَلْ فِي عُمْرَتِكَ مَا تَفْعَلُ فِي حَجِّكَ
