[Machine] I witnessed the Prophet ﷺ and Suyyid bin Tariq asked him about alcohol, so he forbade it and said, "It is a disease."  

الطبراني:١٨٣٠٩حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ويُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي قَالَا ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَسَأَلَهُ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ طَارِقٍ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ فَنَهَاهُ فَقَالَ نَتَدَاوَى بِهَا وَيَجْعَلُ فِي الدَّوَاءِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لَيْسَتْ بِدَوَاءٍ وَلَكِنَّهَا دَاءٌ»

[Machine] "He (Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) witnessed and a man from Khath'am called Sued ibn Tariq asked him about alcoholic drinks. So he forbade him and said, 'It is something that we manufacture as medicine.' But the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Indeed, it is a disease.'"

[Machine] It is said that Suwaid bin Tariq asked the Prophet ﷺ about alcohol, and he forbade it. Suwaid then said, "I make it for medicine." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, it is a disease and not a cure."

يُقَالُ لَهُ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ طَارِقٍ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ فَنَهَاهُ عَنْهَا فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَصْنَعُهَا لِلدَّوَاءِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّهَا دَاءٌ وَلَيْسَتْ بِدَوَاءٍ
